Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Gill and I have worked in the animation industry
since 2001.
I have always loved animation since I was a child, watching all the cartoons on TV as I could...
well until my parents turned off the TV since they believed it was not heathly to watch to much.
As a young artist at the age of 5 I sat down with a peace of paper and stared drawing, copying cartoon strips and newpapers, anything I found cool.Through the years I learnt the skill of the lines and shading. By the age of 14 I still
loved to watch cartoons and I said to myself this is my passion and I knew from then on I wanted to learn more and create a career in animation.
During the 3 years I was gaining my Higher National Diploma In Classical And Computer Animation in Ireland I had the pleasure of assisting my teacher with modeling and animation on a film The Milliner during summer of 2001. After that I finished my own Short film The Quest. Then going on to complete 3D Digital Character Animation certificate at The Animation Workshop.
Since then I have worked at LEGO, Rockstar Games, Glasgow Animation, Superumami, Deadline Games,

If there is one word the probably best describes Gill it has to be "team player". His enthusiasm, professionalism and general care for his work and colleagues made him an invaluable and loved member of Deadline's talented staff. Gill was never afraid to lend a helping hand or take on a task and was always inquisitive and genuinely cared about the quality of his work and what it did to the quality of others work. Truly a great colleague and a gifted animator.” September 18, 2009
